Klyde Shaoming Breitton is a Taiwanese-American artist based in New York City whose work spans photography, performance, and text. Grounded in a rigorous physical movement practice, his visual and textual investigations seek to disrupt and transcend the limits of representation in how the body can be captured and read.

Breitton’s movement language draws from the Nagare Technique, developed by Cameron McKinney of Kizuna Dance, which blends streetdance styles, butoh, and contemporary floorwork into a vocabulary of physical rebellion. He is currently developing a solo and duet performance in collaboration with McKinney, set to premiere in 2027.
